POSITION SUMMARYBaan Dek Foundation is currently looking for a professional and dedicated locally-based (Bangkok) Research, Monitoring and Program Quality Coordinator who will commit to contribute to BDF’s overall mission and provide specialized support for children and their families who reside in construction site camps. The position will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Systemic Impact. The Research, Monitoring and Program Quality Coordinator will play an essential role in the success of the BSI Initiative by monitoring and evaluating progress of the program and finding the knowledge gap and management by research. Research and program quality is a key element of the scale up phase. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the skills to develop and implement the systemic impact program quality as well as knowledge management and lessons learned to the success of the BSI initiative.

Expected Start Date: ASAPKey responsibilities will entail but are not limited to the following:The Systemic Impact’s mission centers around Scaling up the Building Social Impact Initiative, designing and implementing key activities and monitoring and evaluating progress. In this scale up phase research and programmed quality are essential elements to improve existing tools and develop new ones, support data driven programmatic decisions and ensure good service delivery and impact.
Anchor the BSI initiative in the relevant ecosystems - Identify and establish relation with new stakeholders of the construction sector
- Participate to forum and key event for networking
Develop specific modules and services for companies under the BSI initiative - Identify last trends and contents,
- Develop training modules and interesting content for construction companies
Build the capacity of the Systemic Impact team on ESG, business and human rights and Sustainability report- Organize regular training and capacity building session
Lead the Monitoring systems and activities of the BSI initiative- Set up and manage a clean data base (Sales force) to manage company engagement.
- Ensure the CM and BKK team are empowered and autonomous on the Sales Force (training/refresher, SoP…)
- Lead the collect of information from migrant workers and their feedback and experience of the BSI
- Collect, organize and turn into recommendation data on the BSI initiative.
Support the implementation of donor funded projects- Provide data for reporting and support overall reporting to donors
- Conduct specific activities linked to field of expertise
lead and coordinate ll research activities linked to the BSI- Identify relevant research subjects,
- Establish and manage partnerships with universities
- Right research and positioning papers to feed the advocacy work of the BS
- Use research to provide improvement of the BSI approach and tools.
Knowledge management - Work with the Director of Systemic Impact to develop and implement mechanisms for evidence generation and promotion of knowledge management.
- Lead organizational knowledge management and ensure the quality of knowledge management processes, platforms and content of the products.
- Promote knowledge capturing and sharing within and outside the organization. This includes identification and documentation of good practices, inter project and cross thematic knowledge
Your Profile
QUALIFICATIONSNationality: Any
Language requirements: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Thai
Education/ Experience: - Studies: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, law, social sciences or a related discipline
- Working knowledge and skills: Knowledge of business and human rights, CRBPs and sustainability is a strong asset
- Professional experience: At least 3-5 years experience working in engaging, lobbying and collaborating with the Royal Thai Government, UN agencies and the NGO ecosystem in Thailand and Experience in developing and implementing communication and advocacy strategies
Other skills and competencies:- Demonstrated management and coordination skills, including the ability to plan and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate strong management skills with the ability to gain credibility with senior government representatives while challenging the status quo
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate, including experience in a cross-cultural environment and an international setting
- Team work
- Stakeholder engagement skills and ability to collaborate effectively, including in cross-cultural or multicultural environments
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Project management skills are considered as an asset
Working hours: Full time - Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evenings
Salary & Compensation: To be defined based on experience and qualifications
